PXM Trade GmbH is a joint cooperation between PXM sp. z o.o. of Poland, whose Managing Director is Marek Żupnik, and Manfred Schachenmann Planung und Beratung of Switzerland, now known as Licontrol GmbH. PXM Trade was founded in Weil am Rhein in 2019.
The cooperation combines PXM's expertise in the development and manufacture of its products with Manfred Schachenmann's many years of practical experience in automation, building technology, and the application of related components. Many of the devices offered by PXM have emerged from this long-standing exchange of technical knowledge and from specific requirements encountered in practical applications, and have subsequently been further developed.
PXM Trade is responsible for the distribution of PXM products and supports customers with technical questions and the application of the devices. The close relationship with the manufacturer, combined with practical experience with the products, enables us to provide expert support in selecting and applying the appropriate components.
Manfred Schachenmann's company was founded in 1977 in Binningen, Switzerland. The company specialises in automation control systems as well as the design and construction of complex systems, particularly in the field of building technology.
The components distributed by Manfred Schachenmann (Licontrol GmbH) are well-known from the company's own projects and can therefore be assessed based on extensive practical experience, particularly regarding their reliability and suitability for real-world use. They have been deployed in a wide range of applications and in combination with various PLC systems.
For special adaptations, the company operates its own workshop and possesses in-house development capabilities. This enables them to provide customised solutions where required and for appropriate production volumes. Depending on the requirements, these solutions can also be assembled, certified, and documented by PXM sp. z o.o.
We look forward to receiving your enquiry.
PXM was founded in 1991 by a team of electronic engineers under the name PROXIMA. The company's original objective was to design and manufacture stage and disco lighting controllers, carry out installations, and distribute products from foreign companies.
Since 2001, PXM has focused exclusively on the development and manufacture of its own devices. Driven by the search for new technologies and applications, in 2004 PROXIMA became the first Polish company to develop an LED lighting control system based on the DMX512 protocol. In 2008, the company was officially renamed PXM.
At the beginning of 2016, PXM relocated to a modern headquarters in the Special Economic Zone in Niepołomice. Today, PXM consists of production and design departments, as well as measurement stands and laboratories.
PXM offers controllers, dimmers, signal converters, LED drivers, and LED lamps. Its devices are used for museum and architectural illumination, as well as for highlighting fountains and plants. PXM also manufactures equipment for show and multimedia applications, as well as power units for stage lighting fixtures. PXM’s references include the National Museum in Warsaw, the Wieliczka Salt Mine, and many other locations.
